Overcoming Challenges Throughout a Career into Female Leadership
Many thanks to the The Law Society of Northern Ireland's Women’s Network for hosting a thought-provoking event focused on overcoming challenges throughout a career in female leadership.
Solicitors Clare McEleney, Terri Mclaughlin and Aoifé McColgan, from our Derry office, and Joanna Burns, from our Belfast office, attended the panel discussion, where Minister of Justice, Naomi Long MLA, and Dr Esther McGuinness, Head of the School of Law at Ulster University, engaged in a candid discussion about the formative experiences throughout their careers that have influenced their professional development and led them to their current positions in leadership.
Events like these are a vital reminder of the power of community, mentorship, and resilience in the legal profession.
